Coronary CT Angiogram
Many people are familiar with traditional angiograms where a long tube is inserted into an artery, usually in the groin region, to capture images of the target area and sometimes to perform various procedures, such as balloon angioplasty. You may not be as aware of Coronary CT Angiography. It's completely non-invasive, performed with a CT scanner. In contrast with traditional angiography, it can only be used to capture images, not treat underlying problems.
